Knarvik is an HP Compaq 6200 Pro SFF desktop to be the main desktop computer. It was/will-be acquired from Dan in November 2014! Ultimately, a discrete graphics card of some sort will be acquired and knarvik will be used as my main stationary desktop. It was acquired at the same time as $NAME, which is the same model and came in the same i5/16GB/500GB configuration. Both machines inherited old shucked Seagate disks from topham.

Events

• 2018-07: Replaced PSU with the one from finnmark.
• 2016-10-30: PSU Fan is making grinding noises.
• 2015-02-18: Installed the 2GB GeFORCE GTX750Ti into Knarvik.
• 2015-02-14: Ordered the GPU for knarvik. It will get a 2GB GeFORCE GTX 750Ti.
• 2015-02-09: Added 7200rpm hard disk to hold virtual machine and other data. Some VMs (maron and suddery) have been created.
• 2014-12-04: Knarvik has arrived. Installing Windows 10 Tech Preview on it for the time being.
• 2014-11-01: Confirmed existence of knarvik.

Upcoming Concerns

Gotta buy a video card and maybe an SSD for it.
