This is the home page to Stenoweb.

The Surface 3 replaces both superslab (ThinkPad T400, 2009) and surfacepad (Surface RT, 2012) as my main portable computer, and an around-the-house general purpose computer. It has yet to take over all of superslab's main duties, such as photo management and World of Warcraft, due in part to there being more physical spaces where machines can be put.

Events

  • 2015-05-19: Surface 3 acquired!
  • 2015-06-20: Surface 3 renamed from infinitesteno to tampere.
  • 2015-11-14: Betrayal! Installed Vivaldi web browser. First time a browser other than IE has run on this system.
  • 2015-12: Upgrade to Windows 10 -- but not before making a backup of the whole system.

Upcoming Concerns

Should I upgrade it to Windows 10? Buy it a Windows 8 Pro license and join it to the stenoweb\ domain?
